Hi all, I'd like to create a JIRA Automation: when I am cloning an issue, I'd like to have some fields and links not taken over in the cloned issue but left empty. Could this way work? Or should it start with Issue created and then IF: matches Linked issues present Types: cloned to, cloned from? Thanks

This should be simple to do. But it's not. I don't want to create a listener or do scripting. Why can't an automation just do this? Ugh.

Hi @Klaudia Balla-Szabó

You cannot use Clone issue action and put some conditions on field that you want to clone inside Close issue action. It is impossible.

You should try your idea with Create issue action and use branches with condition to copy fields that you want.

Seba
