Jira Migration Timezone difference

we migrated JIRA from one Timezone region to another TimeZone region just by taking a backup from the source and restoring in the target.  After the migration of the JIRA instance, all the stories shown under Agile Sprint report carries a * mark to indicate "Issue added to sprint after start time".   Doesn't JIRA handle this change automatically?  Do any configuration setting needs to be done?

Thanks

It is observed that there is a mismatch between the way JiraAgile plugin and JIRA display the dates. JiraAgile stores the date in long format where as JIRA stores the date in DateTime fieldtype  in MySQL db. While displaying, the plugin converts to the relevant timezone where as JIRA displays as it is without conversion.  Is it correct?
