Where does Jira system time pull from in the System Info menu?

Hi Thomas,

 

System Time is calculated using the time zone set for the application. You can configure the time zone from the internalisation section of the General Configuration menu. Simply edit the setting and set your regional time zone. With that set, provided you are online the application will set the system time.

The above solution will not work. Because System Time under System Info is completely dependent on the local time of the server. Please change the local time of the server that will change the system time automatically. For example in Ubuntu 18.04 you can do the following :

$timedatectl list-timezones #this will show all the available time zones

$sudo timedatectl set-timezone your_time_zone

Once updated just reload the service and check.
