Hello All,

I have a query on how can i upgrade my current jira instance(i.e jira 4.3) to Jira instance (i.e jira 5.2.8) on new server.

First Approach:

take XMl backup of jira 4.3 and directly import it on jira 5.2.8 (and copying attachments and other avatar folders) on new server.

Second Approach:

take XMl backup of jira 4.3 and install new jira 4.3 instance on new jira server and do the Xml import, after that perform a jira upgrade on new server to jira 5.2.8,(and copying attachments and other avatar folders)

Please Give feedback,,

Thanks and regards.
