Hi @Walid Djama,

there aretwo ways you can delegate some administration functionality.

First is using the extended project administration-feature, where you can give some more permissions to your project administrators. This is done in the permission scheme.

Second is to differentiate between Jira Administrator and Jira System Administrator. This can be found in global permissions.

Hi,

I have already read the officel atlassian documentation, but it didn't resolve my problem, I think that I should be more accurate.
I would like to remove the abilty of changing admins' passwords for some users.

Regards.

Only the user and administrators should have access to change other people's passwords.  So you must be asking to prevent one admin from changing another admin's password?  That would mean admins would be unable to do their job, and potentially leave you totally locked out.  So you can't (and shouldn't be able to) do it.

Hi @Walid Djama,

Not all permissions can be separated. What specific permissions do you need to separate?

HI @Walid Djama

Yes, we can achieve this in two ways..

1. If you are looking a specific group should be able to administer the Jira project then you need to work with permission scheme. Here is the documentation about managing project permission.

2. For administering Jira application there are two groups available ie Jira administrator and jira system administrator.  Some of the functions Jira admin cannot be done like restore system, configuring outgoing mail and all..but this can be done by the System admin. Here is the documentation about managing global permissions.
