Licence upgrade costs

Hi

Say i have an Atlassian marketplace plugin which costs $ A for 2000 users and $ B for 10000 users.

What is the formulae use by Atlassian to calculate the cost of upgrading from 2000 to 10000 users.

My understanding was it is A/2 + (B-A)

Correct me if i am wrong?
