Mandatory fields in Bonfire side bar

Is it possible to configure bonfire such that we can by pass the third party mandatory field when create issue.

This is a very delayed response to the original question, but in the name of posterity and searchability, Bonfire 2.2 added support for custom fields provided by third-party plugins, including mandatory fields.
