Menubar to switch between FishEye / JIRA etc

I ran across this post about customizing the menubar so you can switch between JIRA and FecRu and other apps easier, instead of going through your bookmarks.

It mentions using the Announcement Banner in JIRA which looks like passable solution, is it possible to do the same thing in FishEye and other Atlassian tools? The other suggestions about writing theme plugins and such would be more trouble than it's worth to us in this case.

Looks like this feature is making it into (hopefully) all the Atlassian products as they do their interface refresh. Of the apps I use it's currently only in Confluence but it is a fantastic addition, thanks Atlassian!
