Migrate from onDemand to onSite

Because I am not very happy with the plug-in limitations of the onDemand version, I am considering moving to onSite.

Can you migrate and import all the configurations and project data easily from onDemand to the onSite application?

Thanks for advising.

Atlassian support will provide you with exports of your data, which you can simply import into your own copy.

You'll need to raise a request with them to do the export. The exports in Jira contain *everything*. I've not tried this, and have a minor concern that if you import an exact copy, you may need to fiddle with it slightly to grant yourself full admin rights, but you can ask when you raise the request.
