Moving Jira instance to DMZ

We have half a dozen developers that need access to our jira instance. Currently it sits internally and every thing is configured perfectly.

Is our only option moving Jira to the DMZ (external side of firewall)?

Has anybody done this before?

Can I setup an Apache instance externally and do a reverse proxy to the internal Jira site?

Any suggestions?

JIRA works fine with a reverse proxy.

There are remote control applications you can use to access your office computers if your network administrators allow outside secure access. Each has its pros and cons in terms of perfomance, features and usability.

Hi, whatever change that happens, ensure that the base URL and the URL to be accessed will be the same to not cause any issues.

Your other options could be VPN / Citrix access to your internal networks.
