I had moved the bugs from one project to a new JIRA project specifically created for our team. After migration, there were reporting issues and hence I am being asked to revert so will that the tickets be reverted as same issue number? all details will be retained like how previously it was?

Hi,

No, when you move an issue from one project to another, it takes the next empty number.  It does not matter if you are moving an issue back into a project you moved it out of earlier

Hope this is clear?
