Hi there,
I'm setting up a JIRA/Agile production server (6.3) and would like to use Mysql as back-end database. I'd like to know which Mysql editions to use in a corporate environment (Mysql Community Edition or Standard Edition) and what version of Mysql. The server will be RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.x.
Thanks for insight and advice.

Hi Jay,
You can use Community or Standard, you just need to make sure that you're downloading one supported version as per of the official supported platforms:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Supported+Platforms
Here you can see the differences between the Standard and Community versions, basically the Standard provides Support from Mysql and other services, but for JIRA it's transparent:

Cheers,

Thanks Pedro.
