Please assist, we would like to export the comments made by the team on their issues, I have tried using search but am struggling.

I find the REST API to be rather useful for this task.

GET: https://{atlassianDomain}/rest/api/2/issue/{issueID}/comment

replace items in curly braces obviously to reflect your jira instance and desired issue.

If you don't already have an API token I would start there for use with basic authentication.

What are you trying to "export" to?   Why are the comments needed somewhere else?
