Proxy error | Reason : Error reading from remote server

Hi Team,

Greetings!

In my Jira server, While i am doing the Integrity check its showing error below

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.

The Proxy server could not handle the request.

Reason : Error reading from remote server

I don't have the cluster steup and i am also able to do all the activity including the reindexing. When I am doing reindexing its showing error.

For more information below 

JVM value Xms - 2024m

JVM value Xmx - 12000m

Note :- Integrity checker showing pass when cheking for a small integrity like issue in null status.

Per your description, it might be possible the proxy is closing the connection due to a timeout issue.

I see two options here:

1) Run the SQL queries equivalents on the database following this SQL equivalents for Jira server's workflow integrity checks page

2) Bypass the proxy and run the integrity checker on the server directly.

Please let us know your thoughts.

Sorry for the delay response.

I just want to give some clarity on this issue.

1- The integrity checker is not working and showing the error on the specific list section       like below.

• Check workflow Integrity
• Check issue for the Relation 'ParentProject'

 Apart from the above list, others integiry lists are working and passing properly       without any issue.

2- One more thing, We are doing the Integrity checker on the cloned server from the           production. Which is running on the IP, Is it making any issue..?

3- We have the xms 2024m and Xmx 12000m JVM value So Do we need to increase it to         10GB and 12GB, Do you think it will impact on the server..?

4- What is the relation between bypass proxy or SSL with Integrity checker..?

Please suggest, Which option will work on it..?
