Hi,
Our team has been using JIRA recently for Defects Tracking. We would like to use JIRA or any other Attlasian Product to integrate QA Testing Managment into this.
I have read about plugins being able to help but I would like to know some recommendations about the best way to implement this.
Thanks for your help.
There are several solutions for JIRA https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?q=test
Basically they split to three groups:
I will focus on the first group:
If you've already read about the JIRA plugin like Zephyr and Xray, the next step would be to install the trial versions and see it for yourself. Maybe we'd be able to help if you had specific questions about a product, but I think the scope of your question is rather large.
I'll keep recommendations very general then:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
You can also check TestComplete.. from Smart Bear

If you are still looking for a test management add-on for JIRA, it might be worth to evaluate synapseRT NextGen add-on as well: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.go2group.jira.plugin.synapse/server/overview.
You can build your test cases to be TREE structure in a central space with synapseRT NextGen, just like other standalone test management tools like TestRail, TestLink etc. It also provides test planning, execution, reporting and requirement traceability features.
Please note that it is completely refactored as a new product compared with old version.
