Query on the concept of licenecs in JIRA

I would like to know more about the licencing policy of JIRa, whether the licences are named or concurrent. Thanks

JIRA is not using float license.All are saet license.Depending on the number users,you have to pay.

Named.

Each identified user who can log-in uses a license seat. even if he logs in only once a year.

Actually, I suspected that, but I've seen it called other things and used to mean totally the opposite. The language is not standard, so it's worth checking.

That is answered on the licencing docs, although Atlassian have a slightly more fluid licence scheme than most "named" because you can deactivate users to reuse their space
