Quick way to link to Jira ticket without leaving hipchat

Is there a way to quick link to a JIRA ticket without leaving an app.

example: #Support-46553 or #Systems-46463

I was thinking while in hipchat instead of leaving the hipchat app you an hashtag to a project key or project name and the the ticket number? Is that available with any plug-in or are we expecting this functionality in an update possibly? If so when?

There will likely be more integration of the type you are mentioning, though it is most likely to take the form of an issue link of the type you currently see between Atlassian applications. That type of functionality isn't currently available on the market in a plugin at the moment. It will be very soon, though. Unfortunately, I can't give a date. :-(
