Activity Stream global default view setting

I've been scouring the forums to find out how to change the default view from Full View to List View globally in the Activity Stream and to no avail.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

This was answered by someone at the Atlassian Support

Here's the quoted text:

"From what I've seen in my researches the Activity Stream can only be switched from "Full view" to "List view" manually on the gadget. To change this option globally, for all users, you will probably have to edit the source file responsible for this gadget."

Bummer. I'd rather have the list view show by default. 

Full view is a waste of space especially if I want to list 30-50 items.

C'mon Atlassian! Do it.

I agree with Anup. Default view should be configurable.
