Hi,
On the customer portal I have a field with many values and I need to add a couple more. The field is called System, is a system field, and I cannot find where can I edit it. I'm the administrator
Also I would like to ask how can I really configure the customer portal besides the portal settings on the project settings.
Thanks
Hello Paula,
It sounds like you are looking for Options in a Select list field type. Check out the Steps to set the value in the following Documentation and let me know if this is what you are looking for:

Hi Earl,
no, it's not that simple...
I have in the customer portal a field to choose a system and this field has to be updated to allow the people to be more accurate on the information. So far I see many for this field but when I try to find the filed to edit it, I simply can't.
The field is used only on the customer portal and I have no clue how to get there, any ideas?
Thanks,
Paula

Hi Paula,
Details on the Field Configurations In service Desk are covered HERE, but the field configurations for the field directly are handled Jira side as covered in the link in the previous comment, so basically the field visibility for the portal is controlled in the project settings in a service desk project but the field is still a jira native function and covered in the system side admin settings. In order to appear in the customer portal, this is determined by the specific request type settings in the link above in this comment.
From what you are describing it sounds like the field is a Select list that would show up like this in the portal:
The options in the Field in my exe are A, B, and C. To add in an new option D this is done under Admin >> Issues >> Custom Fields >> Actions Drop Down >> Configure >> Edit Options. then add the new option at the bottom like this:
Once Added 'd' becomes available in the portal like this:
Let me know if this is what is going on or if I am way of on my assessment, and if I'm not hitting the mark can you grab a screenshot of what you are looking at so I can see what you're looking at.
Regards,
Earl
