Plugin "Jira_REST" returned an error: Could not resolve host: <your-server> , Can you please let me know what need to be done from my end to resolve this error.
Hello @Nishanth Kumar Mohan,
This error is caused by not using your actual JIRA instance web address in Administration > Integration. The "<your-server>" is the default placeholder and this would just need to be updated to your actual base web address for your JIRA instance. If this is still unclear please feel free to send an email to contact@gurock.com and we can assist you further.
@David Enriquez - We are having similar issue, but we did specify the host name. We are fully integrated otherwise, but the REST connection retunrs the "unable to resolve host". Cannot seem to figure out what needs to be specified to allow it to connect.
We are using a cloud TestRail trial and a server-based JIRA. Everything else integartes exceptt the REST API.
Intergration info:
; Please configure your JIRA connection below.
;
; Note: requires JIRA 5 or later or JIRA OnDemand/Cloud. You
; can use the 'JIRA SOAP' defect plugin for older versions.

@Mike McNamara It's possible your Jira server instance is not allowing a connection from TestRail (e.g. firewall settings or similar) and you may need to whitelist TestRail Cloud IP's. Can you please email contact@gurock.com so we can troubleshoot this further. Thanks!
