Has anyone every created, and can Jira accommodate automated workflows?

Scenario:  I want to have JiraOps tickets to automatically route to Jira Projects based on a certain criteria without human intervention.

Is this possible in the cloud?

Hi @JD Lobue ,

maybe you can use the script Post-Function [Scriptrunner].

With this, you can create a condition to transition an issue.scriptrunner2.PNG

Best regads!

Willing to try. Where do I access it?

You need the add-on: Scriptrunner for Jira

Hi @JD Lobue  ,

at first, you need to buy the add-on(you have the trial): https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6820/scriptrunner-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Then, go to your workflow and edit it. Select the transition that you want to automate and add the post function that you have in my first comment.

When you select "Fast-track transition an issue", you can add a condition to make the transition:

Great. Does the trial have the option to use the fast track? I have it set up, and the transition is working but it pops up the issue window, and all I want is to have it auto assign. TFS has this functionality out of the box. Not sure why this is so complicated. Thanks.

This is out of the scope of this ticket....you can add a different post function that set assignee to the current user.

But there is user action that is necessary, and I do not want that. I want it to be automated like TFS. Please?
