Automatic comment from workflow transition

Hi there,

I want to make a comment in a issue when doing a certain step in my workflow. I dont want the users to have to write the comment, it should be prefilled or added automatically. My case is that I want to comment in the issue that the internal testing have been skipped when choosing that way in the worklow.

I have not tried it, but you could use a post function from script runner plugin (AppendGeneratedComment)

Yes, installed the plugin and found a groovy script that worked (in https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/5401/jira-automatically-add-a-comment-on-transition)
