Can someone explain this weird behaviour?

Hi,

I´m facing strange behaviour in which an item suddenly cannot transition within a project. Nobody within the not even I as an Admin can do so.

I like to Know the cause of this behaviour and a possible solution.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Regards,

Hello @Nyenty_ Tabe

Take a look at this article

It provides several different scenarios for the same problem. Especially the section called "There’s a problem with the integrity of your workflow"

HI @Pavol Gočal

thanks for the article it provided valuable information in terms of all possible causes and solutions.

Attempting to run the integrity checker I ran into a 504 Gateway Timeout the proxy time has been increased multiple times but the error persists.

Nonetheless, I´ll try one of the various Resolutions "Move the item into a different project and back"

Hello @Nyenty_ Tabe

For me, the cause may be that this status has no outgoing transition or that the workflow conditions only allow a specific group to perform transitions.

You can check the workflow and see if, from this status, the ticket has an arrow pointing to another status.

Hi @Duc Thang TRAN ,

I checked that possible and everything like condition validators properties etc.

Note that all order issues can be transitioned except for this one.

Tabe

Hi @Nyenty_ Tabe

I agree that is strange

If you've checked the properties, permissions, and privileges in one of the transitions marked "Status" <- All , logically there should be a possibility.

From my experience as an administrator, this can happens if the ticket type was changed via automation and not through the "move" functionality, it can create a kind of transition block.

I'll leave this to others who are more experienced to answer you
