Can the subtask automatically inherit Confluence page of Parent task?

Tien Nguyen March 7, 2022

When I create a subtask in an Epic, can it automatically contain the Confluence page mentioned in the Epic? If yes, how can I do it?

Thanks

Hi @Tien Nguyen

As far as I know this is not possible out of the box. Since mentions are only possible when the jira ticket is added to the confluence page itself.

Your best option is to create a url customfield that contains the confluence page and then copy the value to the subtask via automation or workflow postfunctions.

Cheers
