Hi Team,
Please help me to provide the script in post function for above question
where I need to set the value to the Assignee field taking from the "Change Reviewed By (TL)" Field
during the Pending TL review transition
Jira Version 9.12.1
Thank you,
Mridula U
I’m Charlotte, a support engineer at Appfire and I’m here to help you.
If you’re considering a third-party app, with Jira Misc Workflow Extensions you can add the Copy issue fields (JMWE) post function to the transition you need and by selecting the source field and the destination field, when you transition the issue it will copy the information from the Change Reviewed By (TL) field to the assignee.
Here is an example I did in my instance:
And last but not least, please contact our support if you have any questions about this post function or about the app in general.
We’ll be happy to help you! 😉
Hi @Charlotte Santos -Appfire-
We are not using any third-party apps. Please let me know if the plugin doesn't need a license then will install and configure it as you suggested.
Else Kindly provide another approach for this problem.
Thank you,
Mridula U

Hello @Mridula Umesh,
Do you useJira Workflow Toolbox ? If you do, you could update the Assignee field with a value copied from another field with the post function Update or copy field values without the need to script.
By the way, I am part of the Decadis team. If you want to learn more about it, please, feel free to create a request in our Support Portal, to visit our documentation or to reply us in this thread.
Best regards,
Vicente

Hi @Mridula Umesh,
