Exporting Projects in JIRA

Alen Dumonjic February 20, 2018

Is it possible to export a project in JIRA? If so, how do you do it? If not, is there a workaround to this, such as cloning a project or its schemes and screens? One issue that we have run into is that we need to export a project so we can use it in a test setting.

Thank you.

Hi

It is not possible to export one project, you can read in this disscusion about it: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-to-export-or-backup-a-single-project/qaq-p/222726

It is possible to export workflows, you can't export screens for example. I think there are some plugins that can do this, but I don't have experience with them.
