we have the same issue after upgrade to Jira 8.1.0. 

Any resolutions ?

Yes - I corrected the version of Xray I was using and it fixed everything.

Xray has specific versions of each version of Jira.  Download the one that corresponds to 8.1.0 and it will solve your issue
