Groovy script for deactivated/ disable - user from "Project Lead" in Jira

Hi Team

How do I deactivate user from project lead who are not available in organization. I run the groovy script but it can deactivate user from Jira but failed to deactivate project lead because they are currently the project lead. Please find the attachment here.

In order for the user to be deactivated they should be removed as project lead in the project.

There should be an available endpoint for this to happen in the API.
