Hide epic on board cards?

I have my kanban board swimlanes setup for epics.  Unfortunately, each card also shows the epic.  This redundant.  How can I change it so the cards do not show the epic?

I found "Hide Epic Labels" in the board drop down menu.  I wasn't looking for this option here. I expected to find it in Board Settings > Card Layout.
