Hide "Create Subtaks"

Hi All,

I need to hide the "Create sub-task" option in some states of the flow, I tried to do it with the property "jira.permission.subtasks.denied" but it does not work. Is there any other property and option to solve this problem? The jira is v7.8.4

There is no permission for sub-tasks.  You can either create issues (including sub-tasks) in the project, or you can not create anything.

The only way to remove sub-task creation options is to remove sub-tasks from the project entirely, or remove the right to create issues. 

The property that prevents all edits on an issue used to prevent all changes to an issue, including sub-task creation, but I'm not sure it still does in Jira 7.  Might be worth a try, but remember it stops all editing.

Thanks Nic, I'm doing several tests to determine if blocking the edit is valid. I will comment on the results
