How can I export reports to Excel? I dont have administartor access, so is there any free plugin

Here, what exactly I am looking for:

My project right now  manually update the excel with the stories which have covered along with the story points for every sprint.

As this activity is requiring too much efforts as we are more than 20+ teams so all they are having their different boards.

I have developer access to Jira so don't have settings option there to use.

So is there any free plug in so that we can directly export the data what we want or is ther any piece of VBA code so that excel can do the same action?

Atlassian removed the Excel download in favour of the CSV download most people were screaming for

Excel can open CSV fine, so it's a good idea in theory, but the CSV option is still missing some of the nice stuff the Excel export used to do.

But I would test CSV to see if it can do what you need before you jump to looking for Apps.  Or, if you are on server, cheat a bit - there's a flag you can set to get an excel export re-enabled!

Is there any possible way if we  can export through API.

Search for the issues you want to download, the results will display in the "issue navigator".  Look towards the top right for the tools button, the CSV export is on that menu.
