Just a heads up: On March 24, 2025, starting at 4:30pm CDT / 19:30 UTC, the site will be undergoing scheduled maintenance for a few hours. During this time, the site might be unavailable for a short while. Thanks for your patience.
×I have a word, elephant, and I want to emphasise phant. I want it to look like:
elephant
But instead it looks like:
ele*phant*
If I add a whitespace character: ele *phant*, then it looks like:
ele phant
Any idea how to make this work without adding a whitespace character?
Hello Mards,
I use this workaround:
ele{color}*phant*{color}
Regards
Charles
Haha thanks!

Unfortunately, in the default JIRA wiki editor, I don't believe you can bold part of a word. If this is a critical feature for you, there are different editors available i nthe marketplace.

How can I mark this as answered? I can't seem to find the button in the new layout.
