How do you null the Resolved field date?

We have several workflows that allow issues to be reopened.  I have added a post script that sets the Resolution back to Unresolved, but I cannot figure out how to remove the date from the Resolved field.  Having a date in that field causes reopened issues not to show up on the Open Issues view of a project.  I have tried bulk editing, googling and searching Atlassian to no avail.  Any guidance would be appreciated.

Are you clearing the resolution with a post function? If so it shouldn't show as an open issue.

I am using a post function.  Is there a better way to change the Resolution state back to Unresolved that will also clear the Resolved date?

I've never had a problem with issues not showing open when I clear the resolution field. I've never done anything with the date value. I don't believe you can update it.  You are using the clear function, not setting the value to Unresolved correct?  Do they show up in the my issues report when assigned to you?

Oh for the love of Pete.  The light bulb just went off.  I used the post function to set it to Unresolved, not None.  Thank you.  That resolved my issue.
