How to copy value for original estimate from custom field

Hi,

I some custom fields to store estimation time value, I also have a plugin which gives me ability to copy from that field to original estimate field.

However, whenenver I try, I got error "Wrong value type for setting 'Original Estimate' (Long expected)", even though I use scripted field to convert the custom field to Long type, I still got this error. Can someone please advise if you have seen this before?
