Hi @FORFIRM ITALIA SRL ,

I'm a Product Manager of Smart Checklist. Please contact us directly smartchecklist@railsware.com so we provide you more precise instructions and help.

Hoverewer suggestions from @Chris Buzon may work too!

That pretty depends on your use case.

Looking forward to your email.

Cheers,

Pavel

Hi @FORFIRM ITALIA SRL ,

We're the maker of Checklist for Jira. If you are opened in acquiring paid Apps, it's quite easy to do.

  • You create a Checklist custom field and associate it's context to the issue type that you need. E.g. "Hardware"
  • You then add a Workflow Validator to block the transition unless all items in the checklist are done.
  • You can even add some progress indicator on the card itself

Hope it helps!

A "checklist" can be made through a new custom field, it has nothing to do with Kanbans, which is a type of visualization of your work.

That preview panel is called the Issue Detail View. You can control it through the Kanban Board settings.

You'll need to either select the field you want from the list, or you'll need a 3rd party app like Smart Checklist .

Gotcha!  I happen to use this app as well.

You'll need to go into the template manager component (through the Import from a Template button) and set a checklist as default for each issue type:

Smart Templates are specific per-project, so you'll have to add each type of template you want for each project that uses checklists.
