×Hi Team,
I have installed Jira data center server with the username/password as admin/admin locally.
I have created a refapp for which I need to get the data using my APIs. I need an API token for this.
I would like to know how to get the API token in data center.
I did check the document for OAuth but I want to know if there is any API available to get the API token and fetch the user details on who has logged into the Jira Data Center.
Hi @shalini M,
Unfortunately, such functionality still not implemented in Server/Data Center Jira and available only via 3rd party plugins.
However, you can use the plugin I have developed: API Tokens for Jira
In case of any questions feel free to contact me.
Regards, Roman
Hi Roman,
How we can give access to particular user accounts with this plugin.
We dont want all users to use token and we want to restrict to some.
Is this possible ?
Thank you,
Varun
