In the creation issue screen, the field "Resolution" is mandatory.
I do not know why and it bothers me a lot.
In my context, it MUST NOT be mandatory.
How can I fix it?
Best regards
The resolution field should ONLY be put on the transition screen where you want to set it. It is ALWAYS required when shown.
@Joe Pitthow could I define the transition screen?
I found how to set a "post function" for a transition, but I did not find how to define a pop-up asking to set the value of the field "Resolution"?
Best regards,
Richard

Hi @Richard Coffre,
You need to create (or re-use) a screen that contains the resolution field.
You can find instructions on how to map a screen to a transition here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/mapping-a-screen-to-a-workflow-transition-720634253.html
This instructions include also how to create a screen and assign fields to it (in your case you want to add the Resolution field to the screen).
Hope this helps.

Hi @Richard Coffre,
I suggest to delete this field from the resolution screen because this field shows you if the task is resolved or not. Anyway, fields are made mandatory or optional in field configuration (in jira administration).
