How to track agile board efforts with external team?

We are using an external company to do UI/UX and UI app.

Is it better to:

- have separate boards than core team members

- same board, but run parallel sprints

We will want to track/reporting on the external company's efforts.

Hello Barbara,

Can you confirm to us if you are using JIRA Server or Cloud? If you are using Cloud, can you confirm if it is a classic project or next-gen?

1 - It is possible to use separated boards for different teams on a classic project. You just need to create the board based on the filter you want, defining what users the filter is shared with.

2 - Unfortunately, it is not possible to run multiple Sprints in a single board. Our development suggestion would be indeed to use different boards for each team:

- Ability to have one sprint active per Agile board even if they are in the same project
