Users of BigPicture and BigGantt often ask us about the audit comments generated by the plugins. For example:
We are trying BigGantt and we have one question since we do not see this option in configuration. Is there a way to disable ticket comments when a task is moved?
We do not need this because we are constantly moving tasks, and our tickets are filling with a lot of comments like "Moving task ... via BigGantt Plugin for JIRA"

I believe BigGantt comment feature is to keep track of all tasks moved so far, just like history for an issue.
If it is disabled will it be possible to track those changes somewhere or not?

Current BigPicture Gantt settings look totally different today, very few settings are available compared to before. Maybe because of Jira Cloud and next-gen projects, any clue about how to do it now?

BigPicture and BigGantt configuration have changed since 2017.
Configuration items, in Jira app administration, have been reorganized into new sections.
The setting for sending/not sending email notifications is now located in the Task configuration section:
