I have created a group, but why can't I select it as a search filter?

I have created a group and added members to it.

Now when I go on 'Search' I click on 'assignee' it says ... search for user or group.

When I start typing the group's name - my new group does not come up.

Upon further investigation it does work but it is case sensitive (unlike the user names)

Hi @Ilze Schoeman

I think that it because the assignee field is holding only a single users so you can only make a search with users and not group.

I tried in my instance and i can'tsearch with a group and i even can't add a group to the assignee field in my issue

Hope this helps
