Initiative Link field for epic items

I need a custom field for "Initiative Link" in Epics.And this custom field allows initiatives and where we can see  the epics that are linked in the Initiative. Help me on this.

If you were to script it using script runner how do you pull the information from Portfolio?

How would you pull the Initiative and the linked epics to the Initiative? The information in the original question.

It does not matter if you have the Portfolio plugin or not. You would need to follow the Initiative link for an initiative. Here is an example how to get a linked issue:
