Good day!
I am trying to set up the discovery insight agent. How can I add it locally to my PCs and collect information into an object schema? Are there instructions somewhere?
Hi @Pavel Rusakov ,
There is actually some documentation available around this!
This does have a link to the old mindville documentation which is currently down regarding discovery (since Atlassian took over Insight). They are however looking in to getting it moved/back up.
https://documentation.mindville.com/display/INSDISC/Setting+up+Insight+Discovery
i'll flag it with support to see if they can give us an update on the documentation

Hey, here's a working documentation for Discovery: https://confluence.atlassian.com/insightapps/insight-discovery-1085180639.html

So how did we implement it.
In the Agent.cfg file, the path to the published SFTP and authorization parameters were specified (They are encrypted at the first start).
Agent and modified Agent.cfg are scheduled to be distributed to users' PCs via Azure (Allows distribution outside the local network).
According to the schedule, scanning takes place and .xml files are sent to SFTP and from there they are immediately sent to /opt/insight/discovery_import
Further Discovery import is configured and once a day synchronization and saturation of objects occurs.
