Issue create component when import from csv

LongN March 25, 2015

I'm using "import csv" function and at the last step, JIRA throw me the Error

  • The component import doesn't exist in this project and can't be added

note: I have the full right to create component in my project

So, how can I create components in my project right the time i import CSV instead of manual create those components before?

Components must exist before we import issues. Please add the components in your project before importing.

I agree. I just wasted 20 minutes proving to myself that this documentation is wrong. I left them a description of my frustration about how the details of the steps don't match what actually happens. I had high hopes this was going to solve my problem without having to use python and APIs

As Manuel said,

The documentation is correct and the import is working.

As described you must use the Admin-Importer, not the CSV importer!
