It should have following functions:
I lookek at few - Tempo, activitytimeline .. - ,but they all seem to lack the feature of automatically planning issues.
Hi Ferdinand,
First of all, thank you for taking a look at ActivityTimeline add-on.
I would like to mention that ActivityTimeline has the possibility to automatically schedule issues to the team members based on people's availability, issues remaining estimate, priority and a due date.
It is located at the Extra tab of the left panel (available to Power and Admin users only):
Auto Issue Scheduler dialog with scheduling options:

Ferdinand,
It looks like you were using a demo instance that has a limited functionality. Also, it appears there were placeholders for those issues created that were not allowing to auto-schedule the issues.
Please feel free to try again now, I have cleared the placeholders.
Also, I would like to mention that Auto-scheduler does not move the already planned issues on the timeline but schedules new issues into free time slots so that each person is not overloaded.
If there is a need to push back some of the currently scheduled issues then it is required to use "Bulk Reschedule" feature from the EXTRA tab of on the left panel.
