JIRA 7.8 with Postgresql 9.6 errors

Hi all, 

I made a fresh installation of Jira 7.9 on a centos 7 server with Postgres 9.6 however, Upon successfully testing the connection and proceeding on the installation; I generated this error: This is the log

What is the solution for this one?

Hi @Michael Angelo Timoteo,

it seems that the table jiradb.propertyentry does not exist.

Maybe the user you are using for database connection does not have the rights to create tables.

I'll check on that, however, when I visit my localhost it no longer loads the jira wizard. How do you fix it?

Can you please try to do this:

  • stop the jira service
  • delete the dbconfig.xml in application-home folder
  • check your jiradb database if at least any table has been created. If there are no tables, it is probably a permission issue with the user. If there are tables, remove all tables from the jiradb database
  • start the jira service again
