Hello JIRA community,
My question is regarding the Description field use in JIRA.
As a Product Owner, I rely on the Description field of a Feature (or an Enabler) to document things like 'In Scope', 'Out of Scope', 'Dependencies', 'Risks', 'Examples & Mockups', 'Additional Info', etc. so that the JIRA feature becomes the single source of truth for the work at hand.
The issue is that the Product Management team does not want this info added to the Description field of a Feature in JIRA because it synchs with Aha! and adds that info in Aha!, which is not desirable.
So, my questions are...
Thank you.
Hi @Amit Singh,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Yes, the description is the perfect place to add that information.
The Aha! integration does have a mapping configuration, so you could choose not to sync description over to Aha!.
Thanks @Mikael Sandberg !
So I need a way to synch everything between JIRA and Aha!, EXCEPT for the fields I listed in my question. Are you saying that this is possible? And is this configuration setup done in Aha!?

Yes, from what I saw in the documentation you can set up a mapping for the fields that you want to sync. And yes, the set up is done on the Aha! side.
