Hello,
i Migrated 2 instances Jira/Confluence and it was pretty Quick , so now my 2 instances are on another server with 2 new URLs .
My question is how can i update All Existing links inside my 2 applications that are using and pointing to my Old Links ( before migration) ??
Thanks .
I am late to the party sorry.
The answer is on the page below.
Please note that, this is only for server to server/data center moving
Hi,
You can do two things.
1.Updating the old link to new one. This will be tedious as you have to find the link in bodycontent and change this manually/by queries.
2.Easiest approach-
Put redirection in your new confluence proxy(apache/nginx) which will automatically redirect to new URL.(I have done this before)

Thanks @sara , yup the redirct will be the easiet action, but i want to know about my links how they will appear after migration, i mean if fo example a link point to the old URL, do i will see the new link or i will see the old one ? i know that after clicking on it the redirect will redirect client to the correct one but im not sure what the client will see exactly before he clicks
Thanks

Hi,
You can try script runner or may need automation .
