Hi Community,
I am trying to integrate GitHub with the Jira Software data center. I tried looking for the GitHub for the Jira plugin in the marketplace. The Jira data center is probably not supported. However, I integrated GitHub through the DVCS account under the application tab. I provided the client ID and secrets of Git Hub. Everything went fine with no error. However, I need help seeing something under the Development option from an issue. Is there anything else that needs to be configured in order to see in branches? I am attaching screenshots.
Thank you for your help!
@Shah Baloch hi there. sorry to hear you've encountered such an issue. There are other tools in the Atlassian marketplace that might be helpful. You can take a look at ZigiOps tool at the marketplace. It's a fully no-code integration platform that can make the Jira Github integration - it's fully customizable and can sync different fields. If you're interested - feel free to give it a try via the free trial.
Regards,
Diana

Hi @Shah Baloch ,
Thanks for asking your question here, I am Dhiren from the Exalate Team.
If you are looking at GitHub for Jira by Atlassian then yes it does not support Jira Data Center.
May I know what's the use case here and in the meanwhile I would recommend you to try Exalate
Thanks, Dhiren

Our development team was asking for integration; I think they want to track stuff from Github through Jira tickets or something. Not 100% sure, to be honest. We try to use plugin as less as possible. I found a plugin in the marketplace, but I thought DVCS might work without a plugin. Thanks
