Kanban, roadmaps for (not) next gen projects.

Hi,

I need the kanban (multiple boards, fixed visible width) possibilities of a normal project and i need the roadmap and backlog from next gen project.

How can i solve this in one project ?

Not sure exactly what you are wanting TBH. However, if you want the roadmap then you are restricted to NG projects and the boards that are presented there.

Thx for the reply. Reading it again. I mixed up two questions. :) 

Indeed i would like a roadmap in a not next gen project. But like you mentioned it seems its not available for normal projects. Is there a workaround or any idea why it is restricted ?

My second question was why do kanban columns fit to page in a normal project while a next gen project the columns are not all visible onscreen and there is no option to resize or fit to page ?

NG projects are driven by wholly separate code. Atlassian in working on rolling out NG and slowly adding new features. This is why Roadmap is only on NG and not classic. Regarding the kanban column widths I can only assume that is also related to how it is implemented.
