Even though I have my languages set in English, everything is in Finnish. I have tried to reselect and update it, but it doesn't work. What to do?

Hi @Katja Lairikko,

this is most likely related to the language set in your browser.

If you are using Chrome, try adding English to the list of languages. If English is already added, drag it above Finish. Then reload the page with Jira.

Does this help?

Roman.

Hi, I have the same issue. But it does not work for me. I pulled English on the top of my language settings in the browser but still, it shows in Spanish.

Try to set your language again in your profile. http://<your-instance>/secure/UpdateUserPreferences!default.jspa?username=<your-username>

I had a similar issue: Two Jira instances, both with German set as language in my profile and in the same browser but one was shown in German and the other in English.

It seems to be a glitch in Jira.
